Members Needed!

The Mission Support Committee is looking for three new members to join their committee this July. We would like one of these new members to be someone who would be able to update and maintain the Mission Support Committee’s presence on our church’s website. The role of the other two new members would be decided at a later date. Currently, the committee meets quarterly (Aug/Nov/Feb/May).

Gluten Allergy? Please Let us Know

PLEASE LET US KNOW: One of our members came into the office recently to discuss a problem in his life caused by Celiac-Sprue disease. This disease causes a negative auto-immune reaction to wheat in any form. His discussion had to do with the fact that the sacrament of Communion involves the consumption of bread, which is made from wheat. This is impossible for someone with this disease.

We would like to know if others in the congregation suffer from the same disease. Would you please call the office, or speak to your elder if you are “gluten intolerant”? We’d like to determine how to best handle this illness and its limitations for members of our church family.

Ridgewood Reflections

The next issue of the church newsletter will be distributed on March 28, 2010. Not only would we like to know what the G.E.M.S., Cadets, and other church groups and/or committees have been doing so far this year, but we’d also like some personal contributions.

Cadet Club's Fertilizer Sale

The sale began March 1^st. The proceeds will assist in purchasing supplies, tools, sending Cadets to the International Camporee, and other activities. Your support is very much appreciated! Easter Flower Orders

In the weeks leading up to Easter, you have the opportunity to order flowers for a special person in your life or in memory of such a person. All of the flowers ordered will be placed in the front of the sanctuary on Easter morning to be picked up by you or your special person after the 10:00 AM worship service. Last week you received an order form in your mailboxes. Please take time to fill out the forms and place them with your payment in the basket at the Welcome Center.

All orders are due by March 21, 2010.
